Indian Navy Plans to get 3 More Aircraft Carriers

In order to improve its supremacy in the Southeast Asia, the Indian Navy is planning to acquire 3 more Aircraft Carriers, apart from its past procurements.

As per the Vice Admiral Chopra, the Navy may also induct 49 ships in the span of next 5 to 7 years. Out of these, 45 ships will be built ingeniously at the Indian shipyards.

The Indian Navy will also conduct a joint Naval exercise (Malabar exercise) with the US Navy in the next year.
